A last minute, micro shoot photo session opportunity.
I’ll be at Bridgevale Park in Durban North tomorrow morning (Saturday) from 6:30-7:30am.
How it works:
- send me a message on 082 563 2282 if you’d like your child’s portrait taken (Moms are invited to join in if they like)
- Show up at the assigned time and have a couple photos taken
- you’ll be sent watermarked copies of your photos a week later. Only choose the photos you want. R100 per digital image.
Limited space available. Can’t wait to hear from you and photograph some precious little people.

I am a mom of 3, and I adore and cherish every image that I have with my family. With each passing year, and as my girls move into a new stage of childhood, those images become even more valuable to me.
The photos allow me to hold onto that special time in our family’s life. That’s why I believe so strongly in photography.
It’s the best gift we can give one another; a legacy to our kids.
Even though my approach to a family shoot is playful, I always hold this important thought in my mind.
My work is guided by reverence, empathy, and a deep understanding that the power of any image lies not only in its technical perfection, but in its ability to transport you to that moment.

As is ALWAYS the case when you set yourself a deadline - stuff just stops working 🙈🙈🙈 I’m sure no one is sitting on the edge of their seat waiting for my website to launch, but JUST in case you are … it’s probably not going to happen today. As a consolation, here are some cute engagement photos.
I shot the Corbella family a few months ago at one of my favorite beach’s in Salt Rock. What we didn’t know before arriving, was that the surf was particularly rough that day and actually a little scary (even though we were just on the beach). One minute Kaydee and the girls were sitting on a rock, and the next they were being pulled off into knee high water. It was a bit scary, but we all had a big laugh and the girls got to have an outfit change.
Thanks for being so chilled with me guys. It helps that we’ve known each other for so long. It felt like an ‘anything goes’ kind of shoot, which is always the best in my opinion.

On Friday I’m publishing my new website. I’ve been working on it for months! Not because the design is super complex, but because it’s sooooo much work looking back at old photos, critiquing myself, re-editing old favorites, passing personal photos I forgot to edit… making decisions. Analysis paralysis I tell ya!!
But I’ve said it - FRIDAY! It’s happening.

You might recognise this couple from their maternity session I shared. They’ve had a really rough year, but went ahead with their wedding plans, to celebrate life and the love they have for each other. I’m so glad that they did - this couple deserved to be celebrated. Their families deserved a party too!
Courtney is pregnant and expecting a little boy in January. YUP - cue the tears. I have NEVER cried so hard at a wedding. I’m talking BIG ugly tears with snorting! I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. Courts, I know I’ve already said this … but it can’t be said enough. You are one brave cookie! I don’t know many women who could have stood in front of a room full of people and shared so openly and vulnerably about the loss of a child.
I hate that you and Lyle know this experience of grief, but I do hope that the rock in your pocket gets a little lighter as time passes. I wish you nothing but joy in your marriage, and if life throws more curve balls, I hope that you can draw strength from this tough period and find solace in the knowledge that you are capable of so so much.
Caulfields and McCabbs - it was so great getting to know you all better. I apologise profusely for my dance moves, but I’ll make up for it with great photos ;)
